Caitie, I loved every second of reading that piece, as it actually brought me back in time. I used to spin the hot dogs there, supervise knock hockey battles and be an ice guard in the winter. Best of all I remember you and your beautiful family growing up. You are a gifted writer, painting a picture that makes one feel present in your memories, and I can’t wait to read on. ❤️

I was directed here by a friend after she noticed I was rowing the boat! I loved that job- and my time at Oakdale is probably one of the reasons why I became a teacher! Excellent article!

Mmm yes, thank you for this warm and welcome wave of nostalgia. It’s been an absolute trip to be back in Hudson, back on top of the Oakdale hill, taking walks around the lake with a totally new perspective, rooted in gratitude.

I so look forward to summertime Oakdale in full action as an Auntie, living in a the unadulterated joy through sweet Poppy and Cliffy. 🥰
